Nordic walking for rehabilitation

A path leading between Maple trees in the autumn

With my background in physiotherapy, I have the knowledge and understanding to help you get back to fitness safely following injury or surgey.

Nordic walking is ideal for aiding rehabilitation and is a great exercise for those looking to focus on post-injury or post-surgery recovery e.g. following hip/knee replacement or injury. Poles provide extra support for joints and muscles whilst also allowing a full range of movement.

With my knowledge of gait, joints and muscles, I can analyse your walking pattern to ensure you are walking correctly, transferring weight appropriately through each side of the body and engaging the correct muscles etc.

My walks are bespoke, tailored to your individual needs and focussed on your specific requirements. They are designed to work particular muscle groups, improve fitness and manage health conditions.

During your sessions I will concentrate on the elements of your gait that need attention, working on muscle groups to help you get back to walking optimally.

Please contact me to discuss how Nordic Fitness can help you.
